The overall design of the sound system for this event was performed by teacher Zhang Yong from Wuhan Meishen Cultural Development Co., Ltd., and Bai Lun was the live tuner. Due to the special form of the electronic syllable activities and the severe weather test, the on-site audio system needs to meet the following requirements:

Main expansion system
A total of 36 M-F3A PROs and 32 M-F3A FSs were hung in this event. 18 M-F3A PROs on one side were hung in the middle, and two strings of 8 M-F3A FS were hung on both sides to create an atmosphere. The visual effect is integrated with the stage design, and the expandable combination of M-F3A PRO and M-F3A FS has become a milestone in the use of SE in modularization.
Thanks to the small size and light weight of the SE M series, the main expansion system can be directly hung on the Leya rack of the stage structure.

Bass system
In the ground bass section, a total of 24 single 21-inch B 21 woofers are used. The low-frequency dive can be below 30 Hz, extending the frequency response of the main amplifier system in the low frequency band. Equipped with MA 4800 power amplifier, adopts LCR placement mode, with 8 B 21s placed under the main amplifier speakers hanging on both sides, and 8 B 21s are placed in the middle of the front of the stage to obtain a large dynamic and wide level in the low frequency area. Coverage.

Front area fill system
Due to the special stage design of this event, the main expansion system was hung on the Leya racks on both sides, which could not meet the listening coverage requirements at the front of the stage. At the same time, considering that the audience of electronic syllables is mainly active in the front row area closest to the stage, 4 M-F3A PROs are used as the front area fill system. Considering that when two M-F3A S15 PROs are stacked for use, the height of the M-F3A PRO is exactly the same as the height of the human ear when standing, so two sets of M-F3A S15 PRO and M-F3A PRO are stacked. On both sides of the middle B 21 bass, only M-F3A PRO is used to fill the front audience.

Stage return system
Due to the variety of performance types, including rap artists, electro-acoustic bands, DJs, etc., the design of the stage return system must take all performance forms into consideration. At the same time, due to the wide stage width and the unconventional shape of the stage, 12 new stage return SMX 12A were used, evenly distributed on the lip of the stage, covering the stage area to meet the needs of DJs, MCs, and rap artists in regular performances. Return demand from all over the stage. At the same time, these 12 SMX 12As can flexibly adjust the position and call the corresponding presets when there are electroacoustic bands to perform to meet the independent return needs of musicians.
In addition, two sets of stacked M-F3A S15 PRO + M-F3A PRO systems are used on both sides of the fixed DJ table in the middle and rear of the stage to meet DJ's return requirements and provide a clear and powerful sense of presence.

Tuning position monitoring system
Because the performance venue is special and there is no independent control room, a group of Leya racks are built behind the audience area, and the audio, lighting, and video consoles are placed in it, and rain-proof cloth is used to ensure rainproof measures for equipment and personnel . This poses two challenges for FOH tuner:
The mixer is not in the best listening position, and the sense of hearing mainly comes from the main amplifier speaker on the right.
The occlusion of the rain-proof cloth has a serious loss of high frequency, and it is impossible to obtain the correct listening experience in the outdoor audience area.
Therefore, on both sides of the mixer, two M-F3A PROs of the same model as the main amplifier speakers are used to build the monitoring system of the tuning position to ensure the uniformity of the sound pressure levels inside and outside the studio, and to supplement the missing high-frequency information.

Waterproof measures
Since the early stage of the Shanghai Happy Valley EV Electronic Music Festival coincides with the rainy season in the south, there are certain requirements for the rain and water resistance of the equipment.
All SE's live performance products are equipped with special rainproof accessories: M-F3A PRO, M-F3A FS hanging rain cloth, M-F3A PRO and M-F3A S15 PRO stacked rain cloth, the back With a small transparent window design, it can detect the working state of the speaker without opening the rain cloth.
B 21 single rainproof cloth, SMX 12A single rainproof cloth, the front cover adopts a zipper-type detachable design, which can meet the storage/working application status.

Signal distribution
In terms of signal distribution, the output of the mixer is fed from the interface box to two XTA448 processors, and then sent to the power amplifier and speakers after adjusting the frequency division and delay of the M-F3A PRO, M-F3A FS and B 21.
