Behind them, the sincerity and co-operation of the behind-the-scenes producers have allowed this 20-year-old electronic fantasy to be presented.
Main visual concept
The main visual creative concept of the concert comes from the theme of "Dancing Tomorrow" proposed by the art director San Shao.
"Dancing tomorrow" comes from Nietzsche's famous phrase "Every day I never dance is a betrayal of life". The three majors used it as the overall theme of the concert, which not only implies the continuous energy of the NAND gate for 20 years, but also reveals the hope for the future vitality of the band.
And tomorrow means tomorrow, and it also means "bright sun". Therefore, the production team used "from sunrise to sunset" throughout the entire performance, using various times and forms of the sun, such as dawn, sunrise, noon, dusk, sunset, desert sun, rainy sun, etc. According to the artistic conception of the song, Different repertoires are presented as visual material.
Deductive concept
At the beginning of the concert, Jiang Fan introduced that the repertoire of the performance was in the order of the albums released since the band's debut. The whole concert is divided into 4 parts, from the first album "01", to "10 Paradise", to "11", to "A Logic", music fans flow into the long river of time. In addition, Jiang Fan's first sang "Eggplant", feat. Xu Zhenzhen's "Man River Red", the never-released "Surface Facing the Sky", and the new song "Hello Everyone" ... all became the highlight of the night (tears).
San Shao introduced that the interpretation of the song was visually filmed, and the idea of filming was used for the design.
For example, "Surface Facing the Sky", the stage vision uses cloud-like tumbling changes to match the artistic conception of the song. In order to fit the lyrics, the whole song only uses black and white to present the feeling of ink and wash. At that time, what was thought of was "Shadow" by Zhang Yimou.
The sun that runs through "Man Jianghong" refers to the poster of "Apocalypse Now", and some of the images in it have a touch of Tang Dynasty painting.
Some of the inspiration for "I Sleep in the Desert with Your Eyes" came from the statues of ancient Egyptian pharaohs in "The Mummy".
Positioning design
Chief director A Qing introduced that before the venue was determined, they did not stop at the practice of getting a map of the venue before starting stage design. Instead, they determined the basic stage shape as soon as possible, that is, the stage pattern with three transparent screens.
"The next step is the positioning of the band's musicians. I remember that it was around June 20th. I used the 3D drawing software that came with my computer to groped and drew a basic stage position map during a business trip. With this After confirming the location map, the choreography quickly made the size and effect drawings, and then it was seamlessly connected."
Stage design
Yan Qiji from the base song and dance project said that at the beginning of the design, they have considered that they must follow the principles of implementation while pursuing the beauty of the stage.
"San Shao gave the concept of'Dancing Tomorrow' and A Qing gave the placement map. Our specific design is to extend these concepts, boldly adopting the two main colors of black and white, and the stage floor is designed as a chess board with 4 independent pieces. The drum stand accommodates the placement and positioning of different musical instruments."
The top three ice screens are hoisted, and the video elements are spread around these three screens. On the left is the horse ♘, symbolizing freedom and freedom; in the middle is the back ♕, symbolizing women and quiet; on the right is the car ♖, symbolizing mobility and neatness. VJ design
In the production of VJ material, VJ Jonathan from the Guangzhou Visual-SFX team focused on the concept of the concert and collected and created a large amount of material in a short time according to the mood, atmosphere and lyrics of each song. Fully communicated with Sanshao and Aqing, played the various combinations of the three screens, produced various changes and special effects, and received "shocking" comments from the audience.
Lighting Design
In terms of on-site lighting, the concert lighting director and founder of ING, Wu Rishen, continued to "go heart" as always.
"The NAND song gives me a beautiful, comfortable and psychedelic feeling, so this time I also hold these three points."
The memorial hall is rich in historical value, and the actual issues of the site must also be considered in the design. Another important point is that time is tight. The lighting team only has 10 hours to complete the setup, commissioning and rehearsal, so the entire concert lighting is completed by pre-programming. Although pre-programming will reduce the programming time used in the field, it also increases the requirements and difficulty of equipment installation. "Fortunately, the equipment team was very professional this time, and bought me a lot of on-site optimization time."

Yang Jian：This video shooting and live broadcast is a project fully supported by Yang Liu Piao Piao. The first private 4k ultra-high-definition broadcast vehicle in South China was used, and I led 15 colleagues to complete it.
There are 8 cameras with 4k cameras on site, including 2 cameras with 45x magnification telephoto lens, 1 camera with wide-angle orbit, 3 cameras with conventional cameras, and 2 cameras with mobile phones, all using Sony’s latest SR- LIVE 4K-HDR standard production process. Use Sony HDC4300 camera of the same model as Spring Festival Gala and New Year's Eve. The signal is produced in accordance with 3840x2160 50p, and the color gamut converter is used for real-time color adjustment to make the broadcast picture feel comfortable and the 4k picture quality is better.
The entire system uses Canon cj series broadcast-grade lenses, which ensures that all cameras have the same true color reproduction. We also communicated with the lighting unit to balance the color temperature and the color matrix ratio of the skin color, not only to make the details of the characters more perfect, but also to match the high dynamic impact of the lighting to make the contrast stronger. The gamma curve produced uses HLG, and the contrast performance of light and dark contrast is comparable to high-definition production. Than a qualitative leap. A water：In order to ensure the sound of both (live and live), Yamaha CL3 is used for the mixer in the OB truck, and CL5 is used for the PA. The two consoles share the interface box through the Dante network and connect to the virtual sound card to achieve multi-track. recording.

The memorial hall and Sanshao think that the memorial hall is the most ideal, so we first chose the memorial hall from the beginning and contacted the alternative venues.

Now declarations are open everywhere, everyone can try.
A water:It is not the central dome that gives us headaches in the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, but the inability to hang and the sound pressure restrictions.
Due to the short production time, we considered that Zhou Shen’s concert last year was also held in the Zhongshan Memorial Hall. The ESS T12 sound reinforcement system solution was also used. The placement and angle of the speakers have already been determined by the system engineers. This can help us gain more Some adjustment time.
And this time the PA main system uses an upgraded version of T12, the ESS T12P line array system, which is also the first appearance of this system, and the sound quality and power are better than before. Front Fill adopts T12-1530 ultra-wide angle linear array, ESS 150 degree ultra-wide horizontal angle technology, so that the front area sound can reach good coverage.
After the whole project was finalized, the biggest problem for us was the rush of installation time. The venue stipulates that the goods can only be unloaded the night before the performance, but not installed, and the construction can be started at 8 am on the day of the performance. In addition to our musical instrument and sound engineering, the entire performance set up also includes lighting, stage art, LED screens, etc., which will test the team's early communication.
Although the choreographer dispatched 18 workers to hand over the stage to us in a hurry, the time left for musical instruments and sound arrangements was very limited. The stage has not been handed over at 2pm, and we plan to rehearse at 3pm. Finally, the rehearsal started at 3:30. Fortunately, the early rehearsal was very planned and effective. The pre-rehearsal is to find a space specially. Except for PA speakers, the monitoring equipment and pre-level instruments are restored to the scene 1:1. The settings are preset in advance and can be used when they are connected to the scene.
Aqing：We rehearsed together for about 6 afternoons, but the results were very good. I have no worries about Jiang Fan's voice. She hasn't stopped singing these years. She sings better and more fairy than before. She is undoubtedly one of the best female voices in the Chinese-speaking region.

We also don't want to separate the drums with an acrylic drum room, because that would not be able to integrate into the scene and the band. Therefore, in addition to a complete set of drum sounds, there is no extra noise on the stage, and there are fewer crosstalk problems, ensuring a clean and clear pickup.
Switching from a lost road to a NAND gate is a piece of cake for the brothers who often do music festivals. They also practiced this process before. It is estimated that the change will take 10 minutes and only 3 minutes to complete. So it went smoothly.
Aqing：I have one of the biggest regrets in the change, that is, I should use the past MV of NAND to fill the change time. But I was too busy with the specific performance and technical work, which caused me to forget this creative point, and I still regret it.
